Holiday decorations hang inside a tree house at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024. For most people capturing images on their cell phone is easy and they look great. There are people I know who only use their iPhone to take photos and some of the images are amazing. For me, for some reason, I always struggle taking photos with my phone, and I am usually not happy with the results. Last week my wife and I went to Longwood Gardens to see all the Christmas decorations. I considered carrying my DSLR to capture an image for this weeks Viewfinder, but opted for my cell phone instead. With Christmas only days away I was trying to capture a nice seasonal image. This old dog is trying to learn new tricks, but next time I will take my DSLR, I am just more comfortable THE METHOD: iPhone 12 mini, lens at 4.2, Shutter speed of 1/60, f-stop 1.6 at an ISO of 200.
