For most people, capturing images on their cell phone is easy and they look great. I know people who only use their iPhone to take photos and some of the images are amazing. For me, for some reason, I always struggle taking photos with my phone, and I am usually not happy with the results.
Last week my wife and I went to Longwood Gardens to see all the Christmas decorations. I considered carrying my DSLR to capture an image for this week’s Viewfinder, but opted for my cell phone instead. With Christmas only days away I was trying to capture a nice seasonal image. This old dog is trying to learn new tricks, but next time I will take my DSLR; I am just more comfortable.
THE METHOD: iPhone 12 mini, lens at 4.2, Shutter speed of 1/60, f-stop 1.6 at an ISO of 200.
